Our Story

Tom Hughes born in Wilkes Barre, PA and moved to Newark, DE at the age of five. Raised in Newark, Tom attended Holy Angels Catholic School and Christiana High School. Debbie (Buckmaster) Hughes is from Dundalk, MD and attended Patapsco Elementary and High School. We met in Edgewood Maryland at the Starlight Arena for Family Skate Night. After a whirlwind courtship we were married in 1981. Through all the ups and downs over the years, our faith in Jesus Christ has helped us to weather the storms of life. We are currently serving in the Ohio Conference of Seventh-day Adventists as a district pastor. God has blessed us with a wonderful family and more joy than we could have asked for. Tom has two children, and five grandchildren. Debbie has one daughter and three grandchildren.
